Man Driving a Car.

Libraries buildings are closed to the public, but we’re still here to help! Learn how you can pick up items from our libraries without even having to get out of your vehicle.

Library staff will be available to answer questions via phone, email, and chat, and assist with curbside pickup during the following hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 7 p.m.

Step One: Place a Hold on your Items

  • Search for and place a hold on the items you want using our website or the WashCoLib mobile app.
  • When placing your hold, select your desired pickup library. Note: The Mahtomedi District Education Center closed until further notice. Items on hold there will be rerouted to Lake Elmo Library.
  • You will be notified via email when your hold is ready.

Step Two: Schedule a Future Pickup Time

Step Three: Pick up Your Items

  • When you arrive to pick up your holds, pull into the space reserved for Curbside Pickup. There will be signs to help direct you.
