Using our new app, you can search the catalog, manage your library account, find locations and hours, keep up with library events, scan barcodes to find books at the library, enable push notifications for account alerts, download eBooks, and more.

  1. Install "Washington County Library" from your device’s app store.
  2. Tap “My Account” to enter your library card number and PIN. The the default PIN for your account is the last four digits of your phone number.
  3. Add card numbers to manage multiple accounts through a single sign-in.

Access digital books, audiobooks, and magazines through OverDrive’s Libby app! Use a single app to browse and check out digital items from libraries throughout the Twin Cities. The collection also includes more than 3,000 popular magazine titles.

  1. Install the Libby app from your device's app store.
  2. Follow the prompts to find MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary then sign in with your library card number and PIN. The default PIN for your account is the last four digits of your phone number. 
  3. Browse and check out your ebook.
  4. Read your ebook with Libby, or send it to your Kindle.

Kindle Fire Users
