Adult Summer Reading
Join in on the good ol’ summer fun and add 10,000 Experiences at Your Library to your warm weather plans.
This year’s adult summer library program (June 15 to August 15, 2020) looks a little different than in the past. Read on to learn how to participate!
Beginning June 15
Step 1: Get a game card!
- Pick up a game card from your local library branch, available inside the library or at curbside pickup locations – no appointment needed.
- Download and print a copy of the game card.
- Fill out the game card online (button below).
If none of those options work, contact your local branch and we’ll make sure you and your family can participate!
Step 2: Complete the challenges!
Complete 6 of the 15 challenges on the game card!
Need some ideas? Sign up for our weekly newsletter for activities, book suggestions, and more from our Washington County librarians! (And, bonus, signing up will take care of one of your activities right away!)
Beginning July 1
Step 3: Get your completion reward!
Once your game card is complete, you’ll earn a reward – a Buffalo Plaid shopping tote (while supplies last).
To receive your reward, stop by your local library during open hours and talk with a librarian!
We also have a limited number of curbside pickup appointments for vulnerable members of the community who cannot enter the library safely. You can also use this process to arrange a time to pick up your reward.
Step 4: Enter our end-of-summer drawing!
In addition to a completion reward, you can also enter an end-of-summer drawing for a Minnesota-themed puzzle or an annual Washington County Parks pass.
You can enter the drawing by:
- Dropping off your completed game card in the entry box inside your local library branch or at curbside pickup.
- Filling out an online game card.
10,000 Experiences at Your Library is made possible by the cooperation of Washington County Library and Washington County Parks.
