Peer Homework Help

Students can schedule an appointment to get one-on-one homework help from a student volunteer through R.H. Stafford Library’s Peer Homework Help program.

Students must bring assignment materials and devices to the appointment. Appointment lengths vary and are for one student at a time.

  • Monday – Thursday | 45-minute appointment
  • Friday – Saturday | 30-minute appointment

Appointments are for students in grades K-12 and are only available at R.H. Stafford Library in Woodbury.

Peer Homework Help Guidelines

Scheduling a homework help appointment indicates agreement to guidelines listed below. 

  • Appointments are limited to scheduled start and end times. 
  • The student must be engaged in the homework process. 
  • All work must be completed by the student, not the volunteer. 
  • Homework completion is not guaranteed. 
  • Students must bring specific homework assignments and any necessary devices needed to the appointment. 
  • Assistance is provided by teen volunteers. They may ask other volunteers or staff for assistance as needed. 
  • You must check in at the main information desk within 10-minutes of your appointment start time or your appointment will be canceled. 
  • Volunteers are not responsible for students within the library space. Please review Public Conduct policies in making decisions around child being in the library unattended.
