[ARCHIVED] Community Book Scavenger Hunt

Each week in October, we will be hiding a popular adult book around Washington County and sharing clues here and on social media. If you find the book, you get to keep it! The prize books are: 

How it works: 

  1. On Mondays: A book will be hidden somewhere in Washington County. All books will be hidden outdoors. You will not need to enter any buildings or businesses to find them. 
  2. On Tuesdays: We will share the first clue on social media and this page. 
  3. On Thursdays: We will share a second clue if the book hasn't been found. 
  4. If you find a book, let us know by tagging us on social media!

For the first week of October, The Coast to Coast Murders by James Patterson is hidden somewhere in Washington County.

During the week of October 12, look for A Burning by Megha Majumdar.

Week two's hunt is a little hairy;
A good place to start is at the library!
Travel to Mr. Pearson's town
Find colorful flowers above the ground.
