One of the little-known benefits of your library card is smARTpass, an arts access program that provides free and reduced-cost tickets to arts opportunities around the Twin Cities area.
The Minnesota Fringe Festival recently added several hundred buy-one-get-one offers good for any show at the festival, which runs from August 1 through August 11.
Here's how it works:
- Sign in to smARTpass.melsa.org using your library card, then find the Minnesota Fringe Festival offer.
- Reserve a pass for a buy-one-get-one offer good for any Fringe Festival show. When you reserve a pass, you'll get a unique code to use when buying tickets on the Fringe Festival website.
- Visit MinnesotaFringe.org to choose your show! You can search by show type, venue, recommended age group, theater company, and more.
- When you're checking out, enter your smARTpass code to redeem your BOGO offer!
smARTpass is available through your Washington County Library membership thanks to the Metropolitan Library Service Agency and a grant from the Minnesota Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Other arts partners include the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Children's Museum, Park Square Theatre and more.
