We’re excited to be starting the new year with a new events calendar! It has all the good features from our old calendar in a system that looks cleaner and is much easier to use on mobile devices. 

When you visit the new calendar, it defaults to a new card view where you can get detailed previews of upcoming events. You can get to more traditional calendar or list layouts by changing the view on the top right corner of the page. 

Sorting the calendar to find the programs you want to see is also simple. In the left-hand column there are options to filter the calendar by the type of event (“category”), the audience, or the library you want to visit. You can also make multiple selections in every filter to show exactly what you’re want to see. 

If you see a program you’re interested in, you can add it to your personal calendar with the click of a button. You can also share that event on Facebook or Twitter to help spread the word to friends and family.  

If you’ve already registered for program or reserved a room, no need to worry. All of those registrations and reservations have been transferred into the new system. 

The new calendar system also offers a range of new features that we’re planning to roll out in the next few months, so keep checking back! For now, take a peek at all of the cool events we have coming up in January – we'll see you at the library!
