As the world gets more complicated, finding the right information and resources can feel overwhelming. But not to worry, Washington County Library can help! 

One resource we offer to help simplify your life is a Life Event Kit. In these kits, our librarians have done the work of gathering useful, informative materials that can help during times of big change, big questions, or big projects.  

Life Event Kit topics include having a baby, getting married, changing careers, adopting a new dog, tackling home improvement projects, living healthy, embracing relaxation, coping with death, or planning a family vacation. 

The books in each kit approach the topic from different angles, so there are sure to be resources that make sense for you. Each kit also includes a guide to finding more information through our catalog and online databases. 

All of the kits can be put on hold through our online catalog. When you reserve a kit, you can arrange to pick it up on the hold shelf at the Washington County Library branch of your choice.
