If the last weeks of summer are going by a little too slowly for you (parents, am I right?!), add a little pizazz to your day by taking advantage of the smARTpass system to visit museums, nature sites, performances and more. It’s available through your Washington County Library membership thanks to the Metropolitan Library Service Agency and a grant from the Minnesota Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
With smARTpass, you use your library card to reserve free and/or discounted admission to a number of Twin Cities arts experiences. You can search for arts events and programs up to 60 days in the future, and narrow down your search results by type of event, include just family-friendly events, or only show free programs. (smARTpass isn’t just for families, arts events are also available for patrons for 18 and older.)
You can make up to two active reservations at a time. Participating partners in the smARTpass program generously provide free admission and are not reimbursed for their participation. For more information, including details about reserving tickets, visit https://smartpass.melsa.org/.
