We’d be hard pressed to find a more perfect summer scene than one that involves ice cream, live entertainment, and the Historic Court House in Stillwater, which is why we’re excited to take part in the 2018 Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 19.
Stop by the Washington County Library booth for library information, to register for a library card, and pick up materials about our summer programs. We’re happy to answer any questions you might have. We'll even have some fun games to play.
Washington County Library service to our users extends past just the walls of our branch locations. We love to connect with the communities we serve and soak up time at annual events like the Ice Cream Social, while sharing a little library love.
You might have seen us at Explore Your Parks Day on June 2, where we set up two story strolls at Big Marine Park and Lake Elmo Park Reserve. We were also part of the Cottage Grove Ravine Grand Re-Opening on June 23 and 24, where we had a story stroll set up and offered a seed bomb activity. And we’ll be at the Bluegrass Festival on Sept. 8 at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Many thanks to the folks at Washington County Parks for inviting us to join in all these great events.
Hope to see you at the Ice Cream Social! Stop by and say hi. (And, uh, maybe bring us a scoop of ice cream?)
