Teen Fiction
Angie Thomas’s blockbuster book (soon to be a major motion picture) just squeaked out the top spot on our popular teen fiction list, edging out John Green for that honor:

Juvenile Fiction
Books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney accounted for nine of the top 15 most popular titles checked-out so far this year, racking up an impressive 2,156 checkouts through the end of June. The other most popular juvenile fiction titles were:
- Dork Diaries by Rachel Renée Russell (289 checkouts)
- Wonder by R.J. Palacio (223 checkouts)
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling (159 checkouts)
- The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer (155 checkouts)
Children’s Books
Animals – pigeons and pigs and cats, oh my! – are the stars of our most popular children’s books of so far this year:
- The Pigeon Needs a Bath! by Mo Willems (172 checkouts)
- Ten Pigs: An Epic Bath Adventure by Derek Anderson (155 checkouts)
- The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog! by Mo Willems (145 checkouts)

Video games are the newest item added to our physical collection, debuting last fall. In that time, they’ve been well-received, and popular enough that we’re working on getting even more titles and systems added. Here's what's been popular:
