Let us be the first to wish you a happy National Take Your Dog to Work Day! While it’s rare (but not unheard of) that any of our library staff actually bring their pooches to work…

…it IS pretty common to see a furry, four-legged friend at any one of our branches. Our Dog Gone Reading program means we have canine visitors just about every week, and they’re all ears to help your child in their reading skills. There’s nothing to be afraid of, unless of course, they choose a scary book!
The Dog Gone Reading program pairs kids with a certified therapy dog and trainer in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Make an appointment with one of our friendly canine readers through our online calendar at http://bit.ly/WCLDogGoneReading.
If dogs aren’t really your thing, that’s OK. Can we interest you in our cat-themed library card? Meow that’s the ticket.
