[ARCHIVED] Get free audiobooks this summer through SYNC

ipod and earbuds

SYNC is back, which means teen readers can access free audiobooks all summer long!

Over the course of the program, which runs until July 25, SYNC will offer two free audiobook downloads each week consisting of pairs of high interest titles based on weekly themes.

Each audiobook is available to download to your computer or mobile device for one week through OverDrive. Once the audiobook is downloaded, it's yours to keep.

You can find out about the available titles by texting syncya to 25827 to receive text alerts or visiting audiobooksync.com to sign up for title alerts by email.

You'll need to download the OverDrive app for your smartphone, tablet, or computer in advance of the program to play each of the audiobooks. You can also transfer titles from your computer to an MP3 player. Keep in mind that each audiobook comes with multiple parts, so you'll need to be sure to download the whole book each week.

Questions? Visit the SYNC FAQ page. The SYNC program is a project of AudioFile Magazine in partnership with OverDrive and audiobook publishers.
