With two weeks left in our annual Winter Reads program, there’s plenty of time to add your book review to the entries for a chance to win a reward book pack. It’s easy to participate in the seasonal adult reading program. Simply stop by a Washington County Library branch location, pick up a librarian-recommended book list, read a book, and offer your thoughts by reviewing it. Return the review, either online or in-person to your local branch.

Library locations have Winter Reads displays up to help you browse titles (or be pleasantly surprised -- “Blind Date with a Book” display, anyone?).

If you prefer digital versions, our eBooks and eAudiobooks have you covered. You can peruse reviews that have been submitted to see what your fellow patrons are saying. At some locations, reviews are posted to bulletin boards, compiled in a binder, or can be viewed online.

And while we wish we could promise the winter weather will wrap up when Winter Reads ends on Feb. 28, 2018 with the prize pack drawings, Mother Nature didn’t pick up a book list or a review form so we’re not exactly sure what she’s up to. (But a good book makes the snow piles and cold temps more bearable, right?)
