Join us from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, at Park Grove Library to learn about suminagashi - the ancient art of paper marbling. Suminagashi means floating ink in Japanese. In this class we will cover everything from the ancient technique of grinding ink using an ink stone to creating decorated paper by floating ink on water. You'll leave with lots of ideas on how to use your beautifully decorated papers.
