Join us from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, at Hardwood Creek Library for a look at "Celestial Events of 2017." Join NASA Solar System Ambassador and Director of Space St. Croix Chris Mick for a talk about the coming solar eclipse (August 21, 2017) and what you need to know to view this event safely, as well as how to view planets and the International Space Station from Earth. Each member of the audience will receive a free pair of "eclipse glasses" which are created with special-purpose solar filters--one of the only materials available to safely view the sun during the eclipse. Bring your questions and curiosity!! No registration required.
