Join Bakken Museum educators from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday & Wednesday, July 25 & 26, at R.H. Stafford Library for a two day program exploring the role of science, technology, engineering, and math in sports. Through active, hands-on learning students discover that athletes need to be physically fit, mentally fit, and properly equipped to excel. At the same time, students learn how athletes are supported by a large network of STEM professionals. Most students know that athletic ability leads to success in sports, but this program shows them that science is another way to get in the game! Registrants must be able to attend both Tuesday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 26. For kids entering 4th or 5th grade. Parent/guardian must sign liability form by the day of the first program in order for child to attend.
