Join the Bakken Museum from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, at Valley Library to learn about the story and experiments involved in one of the most vital engineering feats in history—the battery. By hearing the context for this invention and the motivations of the scientists involved, as well as repeating the key experiments, students are given the opportunity to evaluate and engage the process of engineering and to make this discovery, as Luigi Galvani and Alessandro Volta did more than 200 years ago.
