Join us from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Park Grove Library to create an illustrated graphic novel. A graphic novel is a narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using sequential art, either in an experimental design or in a traditional comic art format. Students will be given a blank pre-bound novel layout to use as the basis for their own illustrated graphic novel. Drawing and painting techniques will be taught and short fables used as inspiration for narratives.
