Hardwood Creek Library will celebrate Washington County Library’s 50th anniversary with the following events in October:
• Free concert by local band The Fugitives from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2;
• “Nostalgia Night: Board Games from the 1960s” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5;
• Annual book sale from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7; from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9;
• Classic car day from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 15;
• Toddler drive-in movie storytime from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 (registration required); and
• Forest Lake Area High School jazz band concert from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15.
