Access Digital Materials with Libby

libby graphicAll Washington County Library ebooks, eaudiobooks, and digital magazines are accessible through OverDrive's Libby app! You can use your library card to access our content, plus content from all Twin Cities public libraries, through a single collection called the MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary

Please note: We no longer use the cloudLibrary or RBdigital platforms. For access to all Washington County ebooks, eaudiobooks, and digital magazines, use the instructions below to download the Libby app.

  2. Using the OverDrive App

Download and set up Libby on your device:

  1. Download the Libby app to your device. If you use a Kindle Fire, you will need to access the webapp version of Libby through the Silk Browser. 
  2. Follow the prompts to find the "MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary" collection and sign in with your Washington County Library card number and PIN. The default PIN for your account is the last four digits of your phone number.

Add the "MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary" to an existing Libby account:

If you already use the Libby app, you need to add the "MELSA: Twin Cities Metro eLibrary" to your account. Navigate the slides below for step-by-step instructions to add the shared MELSA collection and start reading! 

Open the Libby app. Click the Libby icon to open your menu.
