Google CS First Coding Club

Join one of three Washington County Library Google CS First Coding Clubs to learn how to use the technology that powers your favorite apps, websites, video games, robots, and more. Coding Clubs will use Google CS First lessons to teach "Storytelling with Scratch." Clubs will be offered beginning in January at three library locations: Hardwood Creek, Park Grove, and R.H. Lake Elmo Partnership Renewed

Lake Elmo Library joins the Washington County Library system on Jan. 1, 2018. The library will be closed until Saturday, Jan. 20 while work is performed to operate the library within the county‚Äôs library system. During this closure, Lake Elmo users can get a library card at any other Washington County Library location. Learn more about making the most of your Washington County Library connection.

Join us to celebrate Oakdale Library's new Sunday schedule! Starting Jan. 7, 2018, Oakdale Library will be open on Sundays from 1-5 p.m.During our Sunday grand opening event, you can make a craft to decorate the library, have some cocoa and cookies, and enjoy a special storytime at 2 p.m. Learn more about this exciting event.

Learn about those who came before you by first learning how to find them. This class at Valley Library will focus on Ancestry Library Edition and feature a brief introduction to some other recommended genealogy websites.
