Annual Used Book Sale

The Hardwood Creek Library will conduct a sale of used library materials and donations Oct. 6 through Oct. 8.
 Materials are priced to sell from $0.10 to $2. Proceeds from book sales are used to support collections and programming. Gently used donations of books, CDs, DVDs, etc. are welcome throughout the year. Learn more about the book sale hours.

Paranormal Minnesota - Tales of Ghosts, UFOs, and Mysterious Creatures

This presentation is an eerie combination of the most bizarre paranormal topics. Chad Lewis has combined his strangest cases of alien abductions, haunted places, mysterious creatures, crop circles, and everything else weird and unusual. This Oakdale Library program covers the entire spectrum of Minnesota's supernatural activity. Learn more about this spooky presentation.

Use our button maker to create art! We’ll have magazines and craft supplies, but feel free to bring any pictures you would like to make into buttons. No registration required. This is a drop-in event at the Park Grove Library. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn more about this DIY event.

STEM Saturdays : Raptors of Minnesota with the Raptor Center

Explore the different raptors found in Minnesota and their role in the environment. Learn the three key features of all raptors and learn why they are different from other birds. A naturalist will bring live birds of prey! This presentation will be offered at Oakdale, Park Grove, R. H. Stafford and Valley libraries.
