May Art Shows

April showers bring... May art! Throughout May our Hardwood Creek and Oakdale libraries will host art shows for community artists to highlight their work. View paintings, drawings, photography, and more all created by artists within each libraries' respective service area. Learn more about our May art shows.

Mental Health Month

May is Mental Health Month and we have various offerings to raise awareness of mental health and to help those in need. On Wednesday afternoons Oakdale is offering the Shooting Stars Club, an after school group for teens going through hard times at home or school. Park Grove will be hosting Creating Caring Communities, an event focused on raising mental health awareness. We also have a book list that focuses on issues of mental health. Learn more about our mental health programming and see the book list.
