Wildwood Library now has walls!
In November and early December, contractors finished the frames for the exterior walls and began installing underground plumbing.
Until the building is enclosed and heated, blankets are spread around the interior to keep the ground from freezing. The blankets are then pulled back in sections so workers can dig up the ground to install plumbing.

The roofing and the brickwork on the exterior have also begun. Community members driving by the site may see scaffolding and tents along the outside of the building. These are are used to protect the areas where brick is being installed.

Roofing will continue through the end of the year, depending on the weather.
Over the next month, they'll pour the concrete floor, start framing interior rooms, and install windows. After that, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing will start being roughed-in.
