Love and snow: Our most popular checkouts of February

February in Minnesota was about two things: love and snow. Thanks to Galentine's Day, Valentine's Day, American Heart Month, and National Library Lover's Month, it was easy to have love on the brain. And with record-setting snowfall in the Twin Cities, it was impossible to escape the snow. 

With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to look at our most popular checkouts on February that had to do with love and snow! 

Stories About Love

To pull together this list, we looked at our top checkouts across all genres and ages to pick out the top 10 books that had the word "love" in the title. Turns out, nearly all of them are children's books, save one very charming teen title you may have seen adapted on Netflix:

We took the same approach for books with "snow" in the title, and again ended up with a list of mostly children's tiles. This time, however, there were a couple of movies thrown in as well – good choices for the many, many snow days we had last month:
