The Washington County Board of Commissioners will review a new lease agreement for Valley Library at their meeting this coming Tuesday, Nov. 6. The slides for this meeting are available to the public now, and can be reviewed here. According to information in the board packet, the proposed new lease agreement expands the size of space Valley Library will take up in the Lakeland Plaza. The additional 1,000 square feet will come by way of moving the wall that separates the library and the Lakeland Antiques store next door, bringing the library’s total footprint up to 3,500 square feet.
If approved by the Board, construction would begin in early 2019.
